Barcelona Chair with Ottoman
Knoll Chair with ottoman, in mint condition, by International. A world-renowned classic by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, for Knoll International. However, the leather colour is likely to be Cadet V0953.It isn’t quite black, but rather an almost black, very dark grey. This is a display item that has never been used. Both the armchair and footstool are in excellent condition. Extremely fine scratches and marks are, of course, to be expected on the chrome and leather. It’s probably impossible to find this armchair in better condition. Do pop in and see for yourself. It is on display in our ZH showroom in the Viadukt.

Manufacturer’s description: Some furniture designs are so good that they remain compelling even decades later. The Model 1600 was first produced in 1963 and is still regarded today as a particularly consistent example of classical modernism. The frame is made of solid, chrome-plated flat steel. Comfort is ensured by elasticated straps acting as a spring system and soft upholstered cushions. A footstool and a side table with a glass or laminated top are available to complement the armchair.

The wooden swivel chair reinvented – after 125 years of company history, the long-established Swiss firm Girsberger has treated itself to a special gift.
