Right of withdrawal and returns

The buyer has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract within one week without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 7 days from the day, on which the goods were taken into possession. To exercise the right of withdrawal the buyer must inform Stauffacher Handels GmbH by means of a clear written statement (e.g. by letter or email) of the decision to withdraw from the contract. To comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient to send the notification of the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the expiry of the withdrawal period.

Consequences of withdrawal

If the buyer exercises their right of withdrawal within the specified time limit, they must return or hand over the goods to us without delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which they notify us of the withdrawal from this contract, to us return or hand over. The return is at the buyer's expense and risk. As soon as we have received the goods in full have received, a credit note, in the form of a credit code, will be issued. This can be used for the next order, online or at the branch. If the buyer requests a refund, a flat-rate processing fee of CHF 20.- will be deducted.

Restrictive provisions

• Delivery costs will not be refunded.
• If delivery was free of charge, we will invoice the actual delivery costs.
• For as-new/factory-new USM metal elements and connectors, as well as opened original packaging / bags from USM, 20 % of the original price will be charged. The reason for this is that we can no longer sell these goods as as-new/factory-new. We install them in our top second-hand furniture where they are then sold/charged 20% below the original price quasi sold/charged.
• Any loss in value of the goods due to damage will be charged.
• In the case of furniture built at the customer's request, we reserve the right to charge for the labour involved.
• New goods ordered, which we have ordered on behalf of the customer, can generally not be returned.
• Items ordered in the online shop with a delivery period of 40 working days can generally not be returned.
