Manufacturer’s description:

Some furniture designs are so good that they remain compelling even decades later. The Model 1600 was first produced in 1963 and is still regarded today as a particularly consistent example of classical modernism. The frame is made of solid, chrome-plated flat steel. Comfort is ensured by elasticated straps acting as a spring system and soft upholstered cushions. A footstool and a side table with a glass or laminated top are available to complement the armchair.
